11x14 inch canvas board with acrylic paint. I want to go back to oil paint, but it's hard when acrylic is so much faster. I think all the trees look kind of weird in this one...

First off, I have to say as the other commenters that your reflections are amazing looking. Also, the mist at the base of your mountain range is really cool. Additionally, I'd like to reply to your thoughts about your trees looking weird because I've had the same feeling about many of the trees that I've painted as well. I think we tend to want such photogenic idealistic images of trees that we forget that in the reality of nature trees come in all sorts of shapes and sizes due to their environmental factors just like us as people. I think of how many trees I've saw that are missing limbs and hunched over from weathering one storm too many or scrawny, sickly trees that have encountered disease or drought. I guess this is my long-winded way of saying your trees look good because they don't look like a perfect idea of a tree but because they actually look like trees. The whole painting comes together very well.
