Had a lot fun doing this. Prepping the sun and then pealing the contact paper off was just as satisfying as I thought it would be and using the thin layer of crimson on the black primed canvas produced some beautiful effects. I learned a few lessons from this piece as I do from all of them. I will for sure be painting more western inspired pieces in the future.
