Golden Glow of Morning

Umagaan 12 Feb 2021

Well, this was an interesting experience. I liked working with acrylic underpaint. And I love the colors in the sky. The liner brush techniques Bob shows are fun to experiment with. I really tried to just relax and have fun creating different shapes. And I painted stones for the first time. Well, I'll have to work on that a bit more. In the end the painting seemed a bit flat so I added some more land on the left and a big tree on the right. I really like the wild feeling the painting gives me. All in all I'm just happy to paint again 😁

Gorgeous!

Love that tree trunk!

Thanks everyone! Happy you like it 😁

doggymommee8301 that tree trunk was a real bravery test 😉

Very atmospheric, and lovely colors!

Well you totally nailed it.

I really like your rocks! They have a lot of character

MarthaJ I also love the atmosphere, it's so different from other Bob's paintings, much darker and raw.

doggymommee8301 🤗

Boof thanks, it was quite difficult to paint them, maybe because the paint was so thin and my filbert has very hard bristles. And the highlight color is a bit too bluish, but well, let's call it a happy accident 😊

love this. love the tree! Actually love the blue tone, makes it feel damp I think

Thanks Toadi ❤
