Well, this was a challenge! I didn't lay out my gesso how I wanted it to look (got too mesmerized by how black it was while painting it on and missed where I wanted to put the eye of the wave). Then about halfway through painting, I had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic! So painting paused for a week.
Boy, I was in agony city trying to paint on the dried bottom half of the canvas when I finished the painting. This led to more and more paint, and I just don't like how my beach turned out. My favorite part of Bob's painting is the foam on the beach, but my perspectives were off. Oh well. I may have to try this one again!!
