Some days few things go right and that is what happened with the sky. Also the too dark highlighting could have been better although I think the camera was responsible for that.
Canvas used was a budget 12"x16". Hardest part were the sky clouds and to keep some grass areas available.
On to the next dragon!

Transparent clouds look great! Dark clouds are scary a bit. Evergreens are very nice! I think in this environment it is good that highlights are very shy.
Love this Voy, the distant mountain stands out against that perfect sunset, those clouds with a hint of dark enhance the yellow and pinkish orange sky, this was an exceptional painting day for sure!

Love the way the dark threatening clouds contrast with the soft warm colors of the sky. And those mountains are razor sharp.
