I used the highlight color that's a little darker than in the original and I don't regret it. I'm starting to feel more comfortable with making changes to Bob's ideas!

Toadi thank you! The whole painting is dark but on the mountain highlights I used titanium white with only a tiny bit of blue, because I wanted it to stand out! I'm very glad you like it!
oh, and I do love it. So I am now thinking all the foliage is tinted blueas to why the mtns look bright

Watching part of this episode, I might also conclude that the lighting in the studio was too bright. No wonder Bob wore shades while painting season 1!
It was a good decision to temper that lighting Anna.
