The wave was a huge challenge but I had fun. Ross oils on 16x20 canvas.

The wave is fabulous. It looks like it just fell out of your brush.
Thank you so much, but looks are deceiving 😂. This was my first wave painting and I had lots of trouble trying to create the foamy water on top.
Haha I have lots of trouble with everything! The blending on the highlighted area inside the wave where the blue fades into the yellow is just great. And you've captured that wave action as it rolls along, recedes, lifts, and crashes forward at the same time.
Thanks again, Bob was a great teacher that day 😉.
