Second painting. I really wanted to do this one vertically. Felt more comfortable working on this one than on my first one. Much happier with this one overall. Still think the background is not faint enough. I could not stop messing with the water and it lost depth but it looks better in person. starting to figure out rocks and use of knife.

Thank you Voy! I have admired some of your work on here but I see you have not tried this one yet.
It is on my short list though, normally I will paint this one still this summer!

I like this vertical version better horizontal.
Great hazy mood captured and you achieved quite some depth. The central trees at the back really caught my eye.
