Managed to go wrong from the get go one this one by doing landscape rather than portrait! Made a total mess of the puddles initially and had to work hard to pull them back to an ok level. I love the background colour and trees on this painting and enjoyed doing them.

Thanks Umagaan. I do like landscape, what I meant was I started it landscape and then realised Bob was doing portrait! I like that it meant I got to put more trees in but it did make the water/puddles harder as I didn’t have as much room at the bottom. Maybe just consider that and then do landscape. It was really fun to do so good luck with yours.

Why don't you like landscape orientation? I'm planning to paint this one too and I really prefer landscape to portrait.
