Ackkkkk.....not how I wanted it to look. first so called waterfall, first underpainting which was fun and looked better until I painted over it...ackkkkkk, maybe it will look better in the morning....LOL 18x24.......scraped alot of paint away on this to get it to where it is now. Those topiaries in the middle class it up I think, hehehehehe

yes, black & gray gesso. Thank you for saying something Forest, I've kinda decided the stream looks like a toliet paper roll rolled out.....hehehehehe....I've actually grown to love the forest
If you’re like me, I’m always my worst critic. Then as you note, days later I look at it and recognize something good!
I see sparkles in the water I guess from wet paint shine. Not seeing TP 🧐😂

Did you under-paint with black gesso? I see a lot of nice water action there, and many distinct bushes and trees with lots of liner detail. Nice work!
