Old Country Mill

Mgiese84 25 Sep 2021

I thought since I did the other mill in the series I should do this one too. The two couldn't be any more different from one another. The mill was definitely easier in this one. At the end of the day I really liked both of them.

Very Nice! So colorful!

Very pretty! Your trees look great!

Beautiful! The mill and the wheel look really good and the colours are wonderful.

Nice work, your style gives this painting almost a cartoon/comic (I love comics) feeling. Very unique.

Nice babbling brook.Great scene.I love this with the mill!Excellent birch too.Cheers,P

This is great! Love that mill and the many color layers really keep the eye looking at all the elements going on. Did you do those big rocks Nic Hankins style with the oval brush? I did love that technique.

Wow! Thank you everyone!

Pam, I do use the oval brush to make the large rocks however not this time. I used my normal filbert because I didn't want to dirty the oval and have to wash it lol
