I did this painting last weekend. (I try to do one painting every week now) With this only being my 9th painting I've ever done, I'm obviously still learning. And, of course, making mistakes.
I really like the Photo that I used as reference, and I feel I got many aspects of this correct. However, there is an aspect or two that I feel needs a bit of work. But, I'll reserve that for now.
If anyone has feedback, I'd love to hear it.

Hey @Dirk1968. Thanks! The Picture was tagged with Eibsee Lake. I googled it, and I found out that it is indeed Eibsee Lake. Its a beautiful place. Although I've been to Germany, I never got to any pretty lakes there :)
The sky and water are real treat! The island on the right bothers a bit by being a bit too dark for that distance. It argues with the stones in front in the darkness. If it can go slightly lighter but still darker than far away shore, it should resolve conflict and settle it into the painting. Cameras usually darken the value of things compare to what human eye sees.
