Not my best, and not my worst. I was riding the struggle bus on this one trying to create contrast and still have accurate colors. I’m not sure how to get my colors to really pop. Even when I use pure white it’s just sort of mixes with the darker colors and becomes dark. So the learning goes on.
Thanks, tel. I keep wanting to do original work but I think I just need to do a good amount of solid guided practice to really internalize the techniques and methods. So, back to Bob Ross paintings for a while :)
Looks great Brian. Your paintings are looking great. Try a light touch with your highlights so they flow over the pain already there. Cheers

Looks great, nobody who isn't looking at the original source material could know if it was colour accurate or not....don't sweat it Caylakas, this is beautiful!
