A first Plein-air painting on a warm winter sub-tropical Monday at a beach a few kms south of us. A great environment in which to spend the afternoon painting. You can just make out the ocean, sand and beach vegetation in the surrounds of the canvas; as I didn’t allow enough margin for the limitations of the upload. You can also see the odd black flecks from a sugar can burn that attached to the painting. The She Oak trees are still a bit of a challenge, but getting there.

Very nice. Definitely feels like you're at the ocean
