This ‘Coastal She Oak (Casuarina sp) Tree study on a 12x8” canvas board of a young tree is a practice prelude to a couple of larger She Oak Trees in my next painting. The Reference photo was contributed by E Ardvark to a Wikipedia article under condition of attribution under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported license. Any changes from the original are accidental in refining the MJS painting technique for this study.
