Here is the second part of my somewhat gloomy series. After the announcement in my last painting, now comes the consequence of it. The idea of darkness with luminous lightning that opens a gate from another dimension /world and unleashes the apocalypse. The canvas is primed with black gesso and sanded . I also painted without liquids like last time. The moon with the screaming skull was applied after drying with a mix from black gesso and white acrylic.
After it had dried again, it went to the actual painting. I only used 4 colors.
Ivory black, titanium white, cadmium yellow and glaze white. Since my time is limited I have painted in many sections, which has taken some time and really demanded everything as far as my skills are concerned. (individual sections below)
Due to the small format I had to work on the details with very fine brushes. That this idea fits Halloween is rather coincidence but you are welcome to vote if you like it and I am very curious about your feedback at my first event
Canvas 24 x30cm ( 9,45 x 11,80 Inch ) Black Gesso , white acrylic,grinded 240/400,no liquids,Cricut Maschine,time :many Hours
The last picture below is an update where only the eyes of the horse were emphasized with red neon pigment
