Sometimes there are unexpected time windows and so even today .I found this tutorial on YouTube and it reminded me that from the approach to "Bayou Country" I should have found before., that would have made things easier 👀Be it like it. I really like these scenes and I just painted it and I was able to try out my new gesso. As often, I chose the colors lighter to make the whole thing a little friendlier. Bill mentions in the video that he has little time and that you can let your creativity run wild to integrate other elements, for example, crocodiles. Said and done. So I came to paint my first crocodiles. They took me time, but I hope it was worth it.The other technique that Bill shows is to hit the reeds in the foreground with the knife. I tried but preferred to take the liner before it goes wrong.So this is my version of Rain Forest, as always totally fresh from 30 minutes ago and I hope you like it

Yessir this one is on my list but I think I am going to try another still life next (by Bill). My first one was Annette’s hanging pot and it came out pretty well. 🤞
