Thank you Sunnylady for the idea of trying out a wood texture while sketching. I tried this a while ago and let it sit on me for a bit to see how I could make it better, and today I picked it up again and fixed it a little bit. I am ok with how it turned out, and this was my first time sketching a wood texture. My favourite part of this is the ladybug :)

ESCM, great job! You got incredibly interesting composition! Stumps look like some eyes that observes ladybug!
Sunnylady, thank you so much. I really enjoyed doing the stumps on the wood. It was difficult, but overall I am happy with how they look. Now that you mentioned it, they do look like eyes!
