Starry Nebula

ESCM 11 May 2020

I used a toothbrush to do the tiny dots by flicking paint off of it. Was very interesting and it worked really well! I liked doing the misty clouds (nebula) in the galaxy. This is different from what I usually paint, and overall had a lot of fun doing it 😊

This is very talented! If you have astronomy club in your city get in touch with them, and join when they have some night sky party(means people bring their telescopes, chat and may have some snacks), usually people are interested to show what they found in the sky as it is tricky process. Summer is time of Milky way. I think your daughter may like it.

There are so many things happening here, light from the star is making highlights at different sides of the planets around. Planets have this 3D effect. Those turquoise spots of color here and there are very attractive!

Hi, its EM.
Sunnylady, thank you so much for your nice comments on my painting! I really appreciate it. I am so thankful for all of the support i have been getting from everyone here. Going to an astronomy club sounds really cool! Seeing the stars with a telescope would really give me a different perspective of painting the stars! I find space really intresting, but also scary at the same time! I really tried hard to make the planets look 3D. I had to put black on last to give each planet a sharp edge.

EM here again :)
Voy Kay, thank you for your support for my paintings that have done so far. I always smile when read the things that you write. Painting is really fun for me, and I'll always enjoy it.
Painting outerspace is really intresting for me, because space is always changing, and theres always something unique and pretty to look at. Plus you cant make mistakes painting it either.
I shall paint the mountains of unknown planets and create my happy trees wherever!
