This was a commission for a friend of her two Boston Terriers. I own Boston Terriers and love painting the breed. The challenge in this painting was making the blanket look all soft and puffy around the dogs. The dogs themselves were very easy to paint. I used oils over acrylics in this painting.

Very nice painting Eileen! I have a Boston sitting next to me right now. You really got the facial expression and eyes right on - especially on the black and white one! I love it! And the blanket does look soft and fluffy. Great job!
