[NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED] A friend of mine is having a baby and her nursery is themed after the J. M. Barrie Peter Pan play, and various iterations of the story in books and films. She asked if I could do a painting in the Bob Ross landscape style, but neverland themed. Her only stipulation was that there needed to be a crocodile in it Somewhere. This was not a commission for money. I had asked her if there was anything I could do to help her decorate the nursery and this is what she requested, and I was thrilled to try it just for fun. It's 12x16 and took about 7 hours over the span of four days. I'm definitely no Bob Ross, not even close, and I deliberately made this slightly more cartoony because it's for a baby nursery. But I was reasonably pleased with how it turned out, and so was my friend.
Very cool and I like the transition from sky to water and of course your gorgeous crocodile!
Oh wow beautiful you did a wonderful work.
This is such a fun idea! Gorgeous sky and the little details are amazing.
@regan, good to know. I didn't really follow anything Disney except loosely the way the crocodile has his tail out of the water (real crocs use their tails for propulsion and also for rudder/steering so that's scientifically inaccurate). The rest is just general impressions. I didn't even copy the disney crocodile shape. I just wanted to do a pretty fantasy woodsy landscape with a few elements to hint at the Peter Pan stories. That's all.
@joha59 @paintcrazy19 @Tiedyedcrocs thank you for the compliments!

Cool idea.
BTW, the original Peter Pan itself, is old enough to be in the public domain if you aren't in the UK. The later adaptaions (such as the animated Disney film) are not, so as long as you aren't copying their designs or anything they added to the story, you are free to use all the original characters and story elements. If you are n the UK, the copyright will never expire there, but it is held by a children's hospital in London which the author J.M. Barrie wished to provide for after his passing. So they aren't interested in hunting down people who are painting as a hobby.
