This is my first attempt at photorealism, I followed Michael James Smith's excellent free online tutorial from MJS TV.com, I found it to be doable, with reasonable results. I'm pretty happy with the whole experience.

Looks great. I have recently found Michael's site and painting technique. I've just completed the acrylic underpainting on this one; but we are just about to go away again for a few days, so may be Easter before I get to it again. Enjoy his tutorials.
