My husband wanted me to try a Paul Ranson painting. He to does Bob Ross’ wet on wet, but with his own techniques. This painting had a lot of detail underneath with gesso. After the gesso dried the liquid clear was brushed on. The reflections in the water was my most challenging. Several times I was frustrated and I had to wipe and redo, but I finally got it to where I was happy with it.
The sense of depth and light is outstanding.
