I started painting a bigger canvas today then realized it did not have enough primer on it and I was fighting the drying action nearly seconds after applying the liquid white so I set it aside and grabbed my trusty 18x24” and whipped this out. I have never been here myself but had one black and white reference photo to go off of. Happy with the turnout!

What really impresses me is the work on the mountain reflection. Very realistic.
Thank you everyone so much! I really wanted to work on the reflections in the water so I’m extremely happy that is showing! Also, Pam, yes!! I have as going for a raven since I have been seeing them so often on our hikes. It’s been hot so they have been gathering in the cooler shaded areas near the water and it’s been super fun to witness their sheer size from closer. Thank you everyone!
