We've had our eyes on quite a few of Bucks paintings . This one in particular because of the colors. His style of painting is differant, but it all seams to fall into place. Took me out of my comfort zone. But I think it turned out, surprised myself.

Very nice version, I also did a try, but I am to ashamed to share it, maybe I will do another try. In my case: the sky color was green, the orange in the sky became also green, the red was too hard, but the main case was: the painter did not tell where he was going to and his sketch was bad to see. Your version makes it more clear what the shape of the waves is and where to put the foam, so thanks for sharing.

In answering joha59,we did watch this painting a couple times and I noticed a similarity to what he was painting,and the canvas behind him on the wall already done so this is the way I decided to go with it. We did use the green in the sky,and we applied the way he did just to tint and it all seamed to blend really well. It did take me out of my comfort zone,but I learned so much and thank you.
