A bit of an experiment.
12"x12" black canvas, positioned on it's point. Liquid Clear. Dioxazine Purple, Titanium White.
Just messing around with my favourite colour. Thought I'd position the canvas as a diamond shape to make the simple compostion a little more interesting. The moon was underpainted in whitecand grey gesso.
