My second attempt at this painting based on a Bram Bevins tutorial.
6"x12" black canvas. Liquid Clear, Titanium White, Prussian Blue, Phthalo Blue, Phthalo Green and Carbon Black.
I did this painting last week and I wasn't very happy with the sky. Following some helpful advice from Helen "TheLandscapePainter" (thanks again), I tried it again today. I didn't use as much paint on the background before adding the white to the sky, so it didn't all just blend away like last time. I also made sure that the paint I used to flick on the stars was runnier this time.
I'm including a picture of it next to last week's version.
Much improved. Great job overall.
Thanks.
