"The Ranson Nebula", based on a YouTube video by Paul Ranson.
12"x24" Black canvas. Liquid Clear, Titanium White, Cadmium Orange, Bright Red, Ultramarine Blue, Phthalo Blue, Cobalt Turquoise Light, Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Yellow and Carbon Black.
This turned out quite different from Paul's original. He tried to introduce some dark into the middle of his nebula by adding a glaze of alizarin crimson after letting his painting sit for two days. He didn't like the look and ended up removing most of it. I decided to just go over the centre with carbon black, creating the look of a crack in space.
Very nice👍🏼🇩🇪
Cool, nice work Regan✌️
Wow, very awesome.
Super colors, and I really like the texture of the Carbon Black in the middle - really nice work!
