Tried my hand at an abstract with acrylics on a 5' x 3' canvas. I mixed the paint with molding paste to get the texture. So glad I did a concept painting on 18"x24" before taking on this huge canvas.
This was a Christmas gift for my daughter and son in law. Their request was for a big black and gold abstract. Me liking to do landscapes this was the result.

Wow that’s a big canvas! Really nice and I am sure that they love it! The moon glow in the sky and on the water looks beautiful behind the golden leaves.
