This is a quick study that was done on location in front of this gorgeous beauty!
Size is small only A5. Time it took maximum 30 min.
The trip was fantastic but what is more fantastic how realistic this sketch looks from distance of 1.5 meters. I could not conquer colors to make them right as I used only zinc white. But I like how fresh this study work looks at home.

@paintcraizy - I certainly want to take it to bigger canvas. I got some elongated canvas yesterday. I have taken enough photos to use as reference material. I would like to understand how it turns out first before even engaging in conversation if it is possible to ship from Guyana to Canada since I don't know where the post office is or any DHL/Fedex's.
@Voy - thank you Voy! It turns out I am liking to paint outside because when colors selected right it brings nature in the room. it is like opening a window to get fresh air. Not sure how explain it better.

Sunnylady, I am sure that in doing this on location painting that your mind captured elements of that scene that really appealed to you, and that when you come to paint in your studio, you will remember and incorporate them so much better than just relying on photos. I look forward to seeing your next version.
@dave - yes indeed, I decided to do this sketch also because I wanted to memorize this experience better! This is the first waterfall in South America for me.
