This turned out as a very simple painting after the previous work I did not post over here.
I did a mistake that I realized when 80% was done. My clouds were lighter in value than needed and could not be fully fixed.
I hope the eye stays in the center of painting where sun, birds and lighthouse themselves are located.
Painting done by following the tutorial of D.Roza on YouTube. Took me about 4-5 hours. Oil on 45x60cm canvas.
Hmm… the birds probably had to be a bit smaller not to turn into flying dinosaur ?

Just gorgeous! My eye likes hanging out between the sun and the lighthouse. The glow in the sky is beautiful. And those birds are not too large in my opinion - pelicans can be 5-8 ft wingspan :)
A lovely painting. I especially like the sunset and the way the sun's glow fills the late afternoon sky above the clouds. Well done.

This is truly beautiful. The colors are fantastic and I was drawn immediately to the sun and lighthouse. Good looking birds too.

@DaveJ - thank you very much. This was a challenge to make this gradient of colors. I did not do a nice increase in darkness between colors and blending proved difficult again. But as they say live and learn.

@ForestVue Gallery - thank you for your kind words! The color contrast is very attractive here. Somehow with muted colors it works so well, I would not imagine it with open colors.
Do you think compositionally it is too geometric?
Such a beautiful subtle painting. I really love it and it stopped me in my tracks that I had to stop and take a closer look.
Thin high layers of clouds can have some unexpected effects. It doesn't look unnatural.
@ Lzicchinella - thank you! I love color contrast in here and how shiny the sun turned out. The majority I do this painting is just blending and no thick paint layers at all.
