Here's a fairy garden for my nieces, its my composition using techniques I learned from Gary Jenkins. Border acrylic, everything else Bob's oils softened with magic white.

Thank you all. The girls love it. I've never painted on wood before but I've seen others here do it with success so I might paint them a box each to match for their next birthday, if I'm still able to paint by then and my disabilities let me.

I am around, just no time for quality painting. Quick sketches sometimes. I got incredibly rusty with oils. And pretty much with everything else. But I keep watching educational videos at least as substitute to painting.
I am happy to see how people progress here!
Thats rough. You did some amazing seascapes. I know what you mean about rusty. After a long break I feel like I'm starting again from the beginning. It's so frustrating when I know what I want to do but can't make it happen. A bit like a singer who can't remember the words. But there's still some enjoyment and relaxation so I'll keep it up for now.
