Followed a Gary Jenkins tutorial, its a nice one for a beginner to try. The background is done in acrylic and floral is in Bob's oil paints watered down a bit.

Superb floral my friend!

Beautiful!

A beauty indeed TLP.

Thank you all.

Beautifully done!

Your flowers are very beautiful! You control value perfectly to create separation of petals and leaves!

Thank you FVG

I can't really take credit for that Sunny, Gary Jenkins explains it so well. I like the flimsy almost transparent edges of the petals on the hibiscus, but its been a while so I'm not sure I could do it now. Nice to see you are still here, hope you are well.

Lovely TLP. cheers

Super painting Helen!

Thank you Jos. I'm particularly pleased with the acrylic on this one of all things. You can't see it here but I used quite a lot of metallic paints on it, it looks different from whatever angle you look at it as it picks up the light from the window. It's a great effect and worth experimenting with.
