I wanted to capture the mist rolling in from the horizon which I think I did, but my favourite part is the beach on this one.

Thank you Dave. I'm enjoying seascapes at the moment. I wanted a gentle breaker in this one rather than a massive crasher. I like the beach because I'm naturally shy of using colour and I've realised that building all the colours from around the painting into the wet sand area has helped it actually look like wet sand, and has also made for a more cohesive painting at the same time. I knew it would but didn't quite know how to achieve it. Now the penny has dropped I'll definitely be taking that forward.
