As already said in my last posting (Peaceful Village) I have used the color scheme from there for this original I planned since a while.
My original paintings are mainly monochromatic. Monochromatic paintings are my personal favorites.
This one is done from my imagination, I didn’t check castles before, I just went where the knife took me. I think it doesn’t matter to recreate an existing one. All that should count here is the mood of the scene.
Maybe later on I will do some minor corrections but overall I am happy with the results so far.
Oils on canvas panel 24 x 20 in (60 x 50 cm)
Colors used: Burnt umber, van dyke brown, white and black and a few tiny touches of yellow ochre and yellows.
Thanks a lot Tomi!
Hey Tom , super gemacht !!! It reminds me of scenes from Lord of the Rings, GoT or the Arthus Saga. Great😎👍🏼
Many thanks Dirk!
Gorgeous Tom! I agree with Dirk… some of the scenes of the lord of the ring are similar to this! Super work! Love the color palette!
