Again a premiere for this site where this is the first cartoon story to be drawn and uploaded.
'Erika Raven' was the inspiration for this. She is a very gifted artist (about my age) that includes drawing, painting and writing. For her very first realistic comic book ever, she received one of the most prestigeous comic book awards of the European comic book world in 1987. Up to know, she is still the only female artist who ever won this award.
She made quite some short cartoon stories as well for a popular Belgian magazine and this is one of them. Please enjoy!
This creation was done with a black pencil on a white drawing paper, 8"x12". A shy inky contour was used for making this.
Erika has a hard life Felix!!
Thanks for apreciating this, the first cartoon story on twoinchbrush.com!
Laughing so hard now! This is great Voy! I feel for Erika, though it's always my own mess!
So happy you like this one Heather, such creations are always a risk for being misinterpreted and/or being forgotten!
Maybe I like to do a second Erika cartoon ... who knows!?
Yes! Rings very true in my house...
(I will tidy when it’s too dark to paint)
Hahaha, Neime, really made me laugh here! Thanks for appreciating!!
