Watercolor on paper | 9”x12” | I wasn’t anticipating for this painting to have a mountain island, but a “happy little accident” on the horizon line resulted in deciding to add a mountain. This was an experiment to incorporate as much “wet on wet watercolor” technique as possible. Unfortunately, wet paper creates a lot of unpredictability, but that spontaneity is also interesting to work with.
