Oil on canvas | 11”x14” | This is my second plein air excursion. I chose a river scene because I wanted to the tranquility of the water. I am glad I chose this spot. While I enjoyed the experience, I found this bridge to be a real challenge especially since the sun moved a lot in the three hours I was here. I started with a quick watercolor sketch to frame the scene and then picked up the canvas and oils.
