The neighbor’s old sycamore

mbbrickner 18 Mar 2022

Oil pastel on paper | 6”x9” | This is a view of my neighbor’s old sycamore tree from my dining room window. I used Gamblin’s solvent-free fluid (safflower oil and soybean alkyd) to blend the pastels. I’m eager to see if the fluid helps harden the pastel wax enough to be hard to the touch.
