I drove through the Two Medicine valley one gray winter day and these cliffs caught my eye.
This is the Two Medicine Buffalo Jump. Long before the horse, the Blackfeet people guided herds here using stone and brush lanes called pishkins, funneling the buffalo toward the edge of the cliffs.
Standing there, looking up at the ridge, something struck me.
The rocks look like buffalo.
Maybe it’s just the shapes of the cliffs.
But stand there long enough… and you can almost see them.
Good sense of desert. Love it

Very interesting story to this one, thank you for sharing! And you are right, they do look like buffalos. Really really nice composition and palette!
