I can see now that the boat is sitting a little high in the water but i'm not too surprised, don't think i ever painted the perfect boat....still, i enjoyed the ride.
Tel, you have a great painting! I hear your pain about boats! They always give me hard time too.
You will be laughing- I have ashtray in shape of boat and it was my model for the boats. At the end I erased one boat and kept another one as I did not think it was a good one to sail. :)
Terry, You have captured the change in water colour from horizon to shore well and the sunbeams lift your painting to a higher level. Great work. So you painted the waterline on the boat a bit high. The important thing about boats is that the float and don't become waterlogged. Yours looks safe.
