Couldn't wait to try this awesome painting, because of the wood effect. I must say: the effect exceeded my expectation: great effect with minimal effort. Difficult was, as I already expected, the thinner on the canvas, in my case therpentine, which made the paint on some spots unexpected thin. Maybe it's better to let the background dry before starting, but therefore I was too impatient. On stretched canvas 30 x 40 cm.
