Ocean Sunrise

Mgiese84 01 Aug 2022

I had a great turnout Saturday for my latest painting class (12 people this month). This month we painted “Ocean Sunrise.” I thought it was perfect for a class and everyone really did a nice job with it. They want to do an almighty mountain next month so we’ll see what I can come up with.

Second photo was my version I painted during class.

Thanks Sandy and Brian. I always enjoy doing it.

These all look fantastic!!! Way to go!

Nice job from everyone, I’m getting ready to teach my very first class too can’t wait

Wow, those are some really beautiful paintings. And yours of course is stunning as usual. Love the vibrant colors. Did you use the same colors as in the video? My first sunrise was very washed-out, I was thinking maybe I should try using liquid cleas instead of liquid white...

Wow!! All the students did a great job you are a great teacher, keep up the good work.

Thanks everyone. And U I pretty much used the colors that were used originally. Only thing we used a dioxane purple instead of mixing one up ourselves.

I knew that purple was a bit too intense to be a mix of AC and PtB 😉 Great, I have diox purple, I'll try using it. Thanks 👍🤗

Look at all those happy faces! Matt so glad to see this! Lives being changed! Wow impressive.

Thanks John, Pam, and Tom. I’m glad everyone was glad I shared this.

Nice class Matt, but ... who is cleaning the tables?

Mgiese84 Cleanest Technique In The Game

Haha not me. They were pretty much like that anyway. I clean their brushes though for them ;-)

Matt, congratulations for taking on this role and on the success you are having with your students, and thereby changing lives. Great outcomes that I am sure will continue. Well done.
