Sunset Aglow

HLarson3 07 Oct 2022

I chose to tackle Bob’s most exciting sky painting. This was a lot of fun and took surprisingly little time to paint.

I was challenged by the blender brushes, and therefore my clouds are not what I would like them to be. Those fluffy bristles just seem to have a kind of their own. By the end of the sky I had transitioned back to the trusty two inch brush for blending.

The mountain was fun, and my evergreens keep coming along. I wish I had executed my reflections on the left a bit better. I painted this without Bob’s path, which I didn’t like even in his version. I did try it, and promptly chose to scrape it off and fill in the hillside with more “grassy things.”
