This picture has been taken without flash. Below is a picture with flash to display the real colors. There are some weird bands of light below the light source of the painting. Must be from the flash itself.
I love to do these type of paintings. I just wish these places really existed on earth. I would book my ticket right away!
I have the hardest time doing trees & bushes with a 2” brush. I was able to do a couple of my trees with the famous brush!!! 🎉🎉🎉 I am starting to finally to have a breakthrough with it. I will eventually make my prettiest trees with it! I refuse to give up! 😁
This is #44 (43 in reality since I painted one twice… “Stormy Sea”). So many more to go. And thank God Bob had so many!

Thank you so much Barbara! I tried to be fair to the book as much as possible. Though, I preferred the colors of the back ground bushes from the episode. They are not as vibrant and I thought it would look more subdue since they are further away.

This is very striking and mystical. I love the light and the gushing water. It reminds me of the illustrations in the book, Where the Wild Things Are - which is high praise in my opinion.
