I wanted a different shape than just another oval shape. Once I removed the contact paper, I added some Indian yellow in my top & bottom right corners and ombred the top part with my my blue sky and the white of my canvas.
Loooved painting this one! So peaceful. I actually was painting it as the new year happened!

The boards on the roof are very detailed, right down to them overlapping. Very nice. I do like the different shape of the painting, too. It's giving me ideas for a future painting of my own.
