There is a banner contest on FB for January, in one of the groups I am part of, and I didn’t have the right painting in my repertoire. So I made this one to be eligible.
Since there was a building and the lake is frozen, I thought adding a mom and her child ice skating before the snowfall. Hot coco is awaiting in their cozy cabin. ☕️🍫

Great painting overall, but I really have to commend you on your skaters. Has to be difficult to paint something so small with enough detail to make them look like people. Great job. Even the shadows are great.
