Changed it up a little from bobs. Added a pond and stuff. Really love the black gesso paintings. Wanna do a lot more. Struggled with getting a good separation between the pond and the snow. Tried adding rocks a a dirt bank but didn’t like it so I covered it up and just went with a waterline. Any thoughts on how to separate them better????

Very nice! As far as the pond and separation from the snow banks, you did a perfect job. That waterline is what tells the viewer that it is the water/ice. In nature - especially after a blanket snowfall like this painting - you can not tell where the water starts and the land ends. I have a pond on my property so I know this to be true 😁
