A miniature painting.
I've done a bunch of these smaller ones because I'm starting to run out of space. LOL
But since I like doing a Bob Ross painting every so often I decided to make some on a size that fit a standard photoframe. I have a whole bunch of photographs on the wall of my livingroom and I change them every season and these small paintings fit in well amongst the photographs.
This one is for autumn.
The canvas I use for my larger paintings is a bit rough for thses small ones, but oh well.

I did some "mini" paintings. They are a fun and different experience. Are you saying that you stretch your own canvases and this tooth is too rough? I would fix that by adding a couple layers of thin gesso, which I would lightly sand in between (after dry lol). This will smooth your surface.
