Since this is a smaller canvas (11”x14”), I decided to change a few things… dead tree, left side foreground bush (instead of another tree) and I did not cover my big right sided rock with grass.
I am starting to like the first series. I know how to tweak things in those paintings belonging to these. Fun challenge!!

Thank you very much Sandy! The stream is actually the best one I have made so far. I usually end up with too much paint or it’s too liquid and I loose the nice striations in the water. I found the perfect consistency in this one and learned something.

Thanks Niv! For the rock colors, I made the background color out of a very dark VD brown. The highlights are from a mix of titanium, black and Prussian blue giving more of a blueish gray color. 😀

Thanks Tom! It was supposed to be a tree with foliage. As I was doing it, I thought it would look too busy. So I kept it dead.
